MSEDA Sanctioning

Sanctioning is MSEDA’s way of recognizing competitions that meet established standards for safety, fairness, and professionalism.

MSEDA is the only regional association to sanction both eventing and dressage competitions. To be sanctioned, organizers submit an application for review by the Sanctioning Committee. Approved competitions must meet requirements that include licensed officials, appropriate medical and veterinary coverage, safe and fair courses, compliance with U.S. Equestrian Federation (USEF) rules, and proof of insurance.

Sanctioned competitions are listed on MSEDA’s online calendar and promoted through the monthly newsletter and social media. Reported results are published, and competitors earn points toward MSEDA’s Year-End Awards Program.
